I got this e-mail a while ago:
I can put your site at the top of a search engines listings. If this is something you might be interested in, send me a reply with the web addresses you want to promote and the best way to contact you with some options.
Sincerely,
*Name Removed*
I was about to delete it and then I went to check the website of this unsolicited e-mail. What found was a one page website with a contact form. No blog, sitemap, “About Us” page or anything. One top of that their website didn’t even have a Page Rank from Google.
If a company wants to sell their service they should a least show that they are know their stuff enough give their own website a higher Page Rank and that they too show up on the top of the searches. Having a “front door” like that can’t inspire confidence with prospective clients. I’m not sure what their tool sets and tactics are, but I think they should order a copy of Link Assistant and then send out the feeler e-mails.
